As a native San Franciscan, I have a long term commitment to my customers and to my business. Growing up in San Francisco, first attending St. Finn Barr and then graduating from Riordan High School, has instilled in me a great sense of pride in San Francisco and the entire bay area.

Automatic Garage Door was formerly located on Cesar Chavez (formerly Army St.) for over 40 years. To better serve our customers, we purchased our own building at 2285 Revere Ave. in San Francisco in 2002. It is located on the corner of Industrial Street, only 3 blocks from Bayshore Blvd. We specialize in residential garage doors and operators, as well as commercial rolling steel doors and operators.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Mark attended St. Finn Barr and Riordan High School. He has been in the door industry since 1978 and brings with him over 39 years of experience. San Francisco is one of the most complicated areas to install garage doors and Mark knows how to get the job done.

Loriana Guerrero

Office Manager, Inside Sales

Loriana started at Automatic Garage Door in 1994. She has an extensive knowledge of doors, sales and service. Loriana will provide you with excellent customer service for all your garage door needs.

Wendy Tam

Bookkeeper, Inside Sales

Wendy started at Automatic Garage Door in 1987. She is fluent in Mandarin, Haka, and Cantonese.

Manolo started at Automatic Garage Door in 2001. He was in the construction industry prior to garage doors, so his framing knowledge and garage door installation abilities are second to none.

Nic has been in the garage door industry since 2000. He started with Automatic Garage Door in 2004 and specializes in the repair of all makes and models of garage doors and motors.

GARAGE DOOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

To keep your garage door working smoothly, set some time aside once a year to perform maintenance.
Clean the oil and grease build up from the tracks. Dirt combined with the grease and oil can cause the door to bind and jump.
Re-lubricate the tracks with quality grease and the rollers with a quality spray.
Oil all the hinges and retighten all nuts and bolts.
Check for wear, including wear along the rails, smoothness of operation, and cracks in the springs.
To protect your garage door from moisture related deterioration:

Paint all exposed wood
Make sure weather stripping is in good condition
Keep water from collecting from the base of the door
Clear nearby drains and gutters of debris, and correct any existing drainage problems
